Nicene Creed – What We Believe

We believe in one God, creator of all things both visible and invisible, and in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, (begotten not made, that is to say of the very substance of the Father, not less than but equal to), light of light, God above all gods.

Who was made man, came to earth and for man suffered and died and was raised up from the dead by God the third day, that has ascended to heaven and has by his spirit come to dwell in man upon reception of the Holy Ghost.

And will return to judge the quick and the dead according to the Apostles’ doctrine.
